Browse DataThe carbon monoxide (CO) system, deployed at the Southern Great Plains observatory, measures the atmospheric concentration of CO mixing ratio (parts per billion by volume dry air) at 10-minute intervals 60 meters above ground level. Measurements are based on the principle that CO absorbs infrared radiation at a wavelength of 4.6 micrometers ( m).
