Aerosol Observing System (AOS): Optical Particle Counter (aosopc)

Browse Data

The optical particle counter (OPC) is a particle size spectrometer that provides a measure of the particle optical diameter based on scattered light intensity. The OPC provides the number size distribution for particles with optical diameters from 0.25 to 35 micrometers.
