Description: | For launches starting on 8/25/12 through 9/30, the sonde data from NSA C1 began arriving
in delayed batches. There are currently no sonde files available from 10/01-10/10, with
processing resuming for sonde launches on 10/11. I do not know if the files from
10/01-10/10 have been delayed, or if files from 10/11-onward will be processed on a typical daily
schedule.
As a result of the delayed sonde data from 8/25/12-09/30/12, many of the MWRRET files from
8/26/12-9/30/12 did not use sonde data as an input before processing. The lack of sonde
data results in all physical retrieval variables reporting as -9999. The dates
processed without any sonde data over this period include:
8/26-8/28, 8/31-9/06, 9/18-9/30
These MWRRET files will need to be reprocessed now that the sonde files are available. In
addition, the MWRRET files from 10/01/12-10/10/12 did not use sonde data. However, as I
stated above I do not know if these sonde files will be available at a later date. If
these sonde files become available the MWRRET files from 10/01-10/10 will need to be
reprocessed as well. |
