Subject: | FKB/SKYRAD/M1 - IRT bias |
DataStreams: | fkbskyrad60sM1.b1 |
Description: | On several days (especially in April, September, and December), the sky temperature measurement from the IRT exhibited a positive bias from the AERI measurement from about 20:00 to 07:00. This diurnal variation is highly correlated with the measurement of relative humidity so was most-likely due to the contribution of the temperature of water vapor, fog, and/or condensation on the lens and/or mirror. |

Subject: | FKB/GNDRAD/M1 - Reprocessed: Incorrect calibrations |
DataStreams: | fkbgndrad20sM1.a0, fkbgndrad60sM1.b1 |
Description: | An incorrect calibration coefficient was applied to the up_short_hemispheric instrument (PSP) for the specified time period. Changes in the ARM PSP calibration procedure now generates two different calibration coefficients for the same instrument, Cf(non "IR corrected")and Cfc("IR corrected"). CFc should have been applied to this instrument but CF was erroneously used. The affected PSP is S/N 34292F3 Cf=117.61 (incorrect applied), Cfc(correct)=116.07W/m2/mV These data were reprocessed and archived in March 2008. |
