Description:
The readings from the 125-cm depth on the east profile began reporting missing values for 
all variables (tsoil_E, trise_E, soilwatpot_E, watcont_E) after maintenance corrected 
soil moisture data problems on May 13, 2004 at 1900 GMT. All data from this sensor are 
missing from this point on.

Description:
The Cyril EF is located on a gypsum outcropping overlooking a wheat field.  When the SWATS 
was installed, it was placed in a "hole" in the gypsum filled with soil.  The IM does 
not believe that this is conducive to collection of data that would be representative of 
local soil moisture conditions due to this arrangement.

While the soil temperature and moisture data are correct for the conditions in that spot, 
it is very likely that the gypsum surroundings create an environment that would be unlike 
the surrounding area, and should be aware that the data may not be representative of 
actual mean local conditions.
