Description:	The irradiance measurements at near the limits of the spectrometer wavelength ranges are subject to contamination from stray light within the spectrometer itself. This affects not only the basic measurement, but also can affect the calibration such that reported values may be either higher or lower than actual. Typically, this yields a high bias for measurements at the low wavelength limit and a low bias at the high wavelength limit. This causes opposite effects for AOD with a low bias at low wavelength and a high bias for high wavelengths.
