Description:
The transmitted_energy drops from normal values of ~10,000 J to ~800 J and the 
beta_a_backscatter profiles appears to be incorrect. This continues until 8/20/2013 where the values 
return to expected values. The beta_a_backscatter profile appears to change into "In 
Port" mode on 8/22/2013. With no structure in the return.

The laser diode shut off due to an overheat condition.  It was remedied by a full power 
off and restart.
