Intermittent backscatter alarms were tripping on the PWD suggesting something was blocking 
(dew) or getting into the measurement path (spider or ants).  Problem resolved 10/9 with 
no clear indication of the cause.

The radiometer showed intermittent instability in the 30 GHz and 89 GHz channel. There was 
a calibration shift between Jan 4 and Jan 8 and a calibration instability between Jan 12 
and Jan 20. It may be possible to recalibrate the data when a recalibration algorithm is 
developed.
