Subject:
SGP/SIRS/E35 - Upwelling longwave resistor problem
DataStreams:sgpsirs20sE35.a0, sgpsirsE35.b1
Description:
The up_long_hemisp was missing or showing intermittent spikes for the specified period.
OPS discovered a bad UIR resistor and replaced it with new resistor.
Measurements:sgpsirs20sE35.a0:
  • inst_up_long_hemisp_tp
  • inst_up_long_dome_resist
  • inst_up_long_case_resist

SGP/SIRS/E35 - Reprocess: Partial shading
DataStreams:sgpsirs20sE35.a0, sgpsirsE35.b1
Description:
Shading of the PSP radiometer occurred after sunrise each day of the reported date period,
during the time between 1200 and 1300 UTC. Issue is present in the downwelling shortwave
hemispheric variable. The shading was caused by the presence of an antenna that was
later relocated. Data will be reprocessed and designated as missing for the affected time
period each day (except where NIP is greater than 150 W/m^2).
Measurements:sgpsirs20sE35.a0:
  • inst_global

sgpsirsE35.b1:
  • down_short_hemisp_std
  • Downwelling Shortwave Hemispheric Irradiance, Ventilated Pyranometer, Minima(down_short_hemisp_min)
  • Radiation, shortwave, downwelling total hemispheric irradiance, 1-min avg(down_short_hemisp)
  • Downwelling Shortwave Hemispheric Irradiance, Ventilated Pyranometer, Maxima(down_short_hemisp_max)

SGP/SIRS/E35 - Reprocess: Partial shading
DataStreams:sgpsirs20sE35.a0, sgpsirsE35.b1
Description:
Shading of the NIP radiometer occurred after sunrise each day of the reported date period,
during the time between 1145 and 1215 UTC. Issue is present in the direct normal
variable. The shading was caused by the presence of an antenna that was later relocated. Data
will be reprocessed and designated as missing for the affected time period each day (except
where NIP is greater than 150 W/m^2).
Measurements:sgpsirs20sE35.a0:
  • inst_direct_normal

sgpsirsE35.b1:
  • Shortwave Direct Normal Irradiance, Pyrheliometer, Maxima(short_direct_normal_max)
  • Shortwave Direct Normal Irradiance, Pyrheliometer, Minima(short_direct_normal_min)
  • short_direct_normal_std
  • Radiation, shortwave, direct normal irradiance, 1-min avg(short_direct_normal)
