Description:
The 500nm channel data were noisy at times, and at other times output "steps down" a 
notch.  On 10/14, maintenance was performed to re-seat connection. On 10/31, the noise 
returned briefly, so the end-date has been extended through that date.

Description:
The function of the tube heater is to prevent dew from forming on the front window.  
During this period the tube heater was not functioning, there were no reports of dew, and 
there were no indications in the data that dew on the window was affecting data.
