Description:
There was 340 nm filter degradation in the Nauru Cimel Sunphotometer starting 11/1/2009.  
The 340 AOD was in disagreement with other channels sporadically starting 11/1/2009 and 
consistently off from the other channels by March 2010.  Therefore 340 AOD channel should 
not be used until the unit is replaced.  

The 340 nm filter will be changed when the instrument is sent back for calibration.
