Seth Gutman from NOAA/FSL informed me that the GPS antennas at three of
the sites in their network were replaced with newer models.  These newer
antennas should result in better retrievals of PWV from the GPS.  These
sites and the dates the antennas where changed are:

Starting 10/18/05, there were problems with the station information in the
sgp30wpdngpsX1.c1 data.   There were extra stations listed with shortened station 
abbreviations and shortened long names. The data itself was okay, there were just extra stations 
listed.
   
The data for 10/18/05 - 08/27/06 were reprocessed and archived in October, 2006.

Offset in Precipitable Water Vapor

Description:
The precipitable water vapor (PWV) is offset 2-3mm low during this time
period. However, the offset does vary over this period of time. Dan Wolfe,
ETL, states that the offset was caused by a combination of a mapping 
function and the fact that they were not collecting or processing
satellite data below 15 degrees above the horizon. He further states
that the trends were still fine during this period.
