The MMCR at SGP has experienced a degradation of its processing capability that has 
resulted in a 7% reduction in the number of scans the MMCR makes.  This is uniformly

Description:
The transmitter tube was replaced and the new tube began exhibiting helix current faults.  
During the period of time covered by this DQR, there were extensive data gaps when the 
TWTA quit transmitting due to the helix current faults. This TWTA was removed and sent 
back to the vendor for repair.  The TWTA that was in prior use was reinstalled.
