Subject:
FKB/SKYRAD/M1 - IRT bias
DataStreams:fkbskyrad60sM1.b1
Description:
On several days (especially in April, September, and December), the sky temperature
measurement from the IRT exhibited a positive bias from the AERI measurement from about 20:00
to 07:00. This diurnal variation is highly correlated with the measurement of relative
humidity so was most-likely due to the contribution of the temperature of water vapor, fog,
and/or condensation on the lens and/or mirror.
Measurements:fkbskyrad60sM1.b1:
  • Sky Infra Red Temperature Minima(sky_ir_temp_min)
  • Sky Infra Red Temperature Maxima(sky_ir_temp_max)
  • Sky Infra-Red Temperature(sky_ir_temp)

Subject:
FKB/ECOR/M1 - Flux Data Suspect For Some Wind Directions
DataStreams:fkb30ecorM1.b1
Description:
For some wind directions the horizontal fetch was not representative of the field in which
the AMF was located. Therefore, for the wind direction ranges
40-159 and 176-209 degrees, the fluxes are affected by insufficient fetch and surfaces,
buildings, and vegetation that are not similar to the local field conditions.
Measurements:fkb30ecorM1.b1:
  • Friction velocity(ustar)
  • latent heat flux(lv_e)
  • CO2 flux(fc)
  • h(h)
