Description:
Icing conditions at E4 caused the SMOS wind speed to be questionable starting
at 0900 GMT on 16 MAR 98.  By 2100 GMT, the icing caused the propellor to quit.
The ice melted and the sensor resumed reporting wind speed at about 1530 GMT
on 17 MAR 98.
