Description:
When the Wind Monitor was changed at E8 for scheduled PM, the replacement sensor was 
incorrectly wired to the data logger.  It did not effect the wind speed readings, but wind 
directions had E and W reversed.  Thus winds from 15 deg were reported as being from 345 
deg, and vice-versa, and winds from 165 deg were reported as being from 195 degrees, and 
vice-versa.

Description:
The rain gauge funnel was found to be clogged during 30 OCT 97 PM.  It was cleared at 1657 
GMT.  No clog was present during previous PM on 15 OCT 97.  Date and time that clog 
occurred is somewhere between 15 and 30 OCT 97.

Description:
The output from the relative humidity probe on E24 SMOS drifted low by as much
as 5% when RH exceeded 80% by 15 OCT 97. The probe was replaced on 10 FEB 98
at 1900 GMT.  The replacement probe reported values approximately 10% too high
when RH exceeded 90%. That probe was replaced at 1830 GMT on 10 MAR 98.
