A step change in the January 14, 2002 data was noticed. Upon inspection
a small hole (bird peck?) was found in the diffuser.  The entire head
was replace and the instrument was returned to service 4/22 @1900.

Description:
Shading problem first evident on the 22nd.  Overcast conditions during the previous week.  
The mostly clear day on 12/15/2005 shows no evidence of a shading problem.  During this 
period do not use diffuse or direct data between 1430 and 1900 UTC.  Maintenance on 
12/29/2005 resolved this issue.

Description:
It looks like there is a slight shading issue between 1430 and 1830 on the days covered by 
this DQR.  It is a very slight problem, if it is really a shading issue.  It is 
difficult to say with 100% certainty as it stopped without documented maintenance.

Description:
A refurbished head and Campbell logging system were installed at this site on Feb 2.  An
