Subject: | SGP/EBBR/E2 - EBBR E2 Incorrect Data |
DataStreams: | sgp15ebbrE2.b1, sgp5ebbrE2.b1, sgp30ebbrE2.b1 |
Description: | During the indicated period, when either home signal is in the hundreds, all soil heat fluxes, soil moistures, net radiation, air temperatures, bowen ratio, sensible heat flux, and latent heat flux are incorrect. This condition usually results from an AEM circuit problem that allows the home signals to go high and corrupts the data. The cause has never been determined. Comments added by Marv Wesely: David Cook said that this is a very rare occurence; it's happened about three times in total for all EBBRs. The problem might be on the circuit boards (moisture?), but that is only a guess. The problem has always disappeared by itself after a while. |
