Subject: | SGP/EBBR/E13 - Net Radiometer Tilted Half Degree West |
DataStreams: | sgp30ebbrE13.b1, sgp5ebbrE13.b1, sgp15ebbrE13.b1 |
Description: | The net radiation daily peak on sunny days occured 1/2 hour after the net radiation peak at E2, E9, and the SIRS because the sensor was tipped to the west about 1/2 degree. |
Suggestions: | On most days, which were cloudy, there was no significant effect on the sensible and latent heat fluxes. On clear days, the sensible and latent heat fluxes were underestimated by a few W m-2 before local noon and overestimated by a few W m-2 after local noon. The error is well within the EBBR system error for the fluxes. On most days, which were cloudy, there was no significant effect on the sensible an d latent heat fluxes.
