Description: | DATA REPROCESSED and CORRECTED:
Incorrect calibration for the net radiometer was present upon startup of a newly installed
EBBR, resulting in bad 5 and 30 minute q values during this time period. Simple
multipliers were applied to correct data, and the sensible and latent heat fluxes were
recalculated.
The data were archived in January 2017. Please retrieve the reprocessed data for use in
your analysis.

When the CR10 program was loaded in the storage module of the newly
installed EBBR unit at E18 on 10 September 1997, an incorrect
calibration for the net radiometer was present. The incorrect calibration
had apparently been entered into the storage module by the vendor before
the unit was shipped. The .DOC file showed the correct calibration;
therefore, we did not suspect a problem until comparisons with
radiometers at other sites nearby were performed. The program with the
correct calibration was entered on 18 June 1998. The 15 minute mv_q
values were not affected. The 5 and 30 minute q values during the period
above need to be corrected; multiply positive q values by 0.684, multiply
negative values by 0.811; Sensible (h) and Latent Heat (e) fluxes for the
period need to be recalculated with the equations below.
e = -(q + ave_shf)/(1 + bowen)
h = -(e + ave_shf + q) |
