Subject: | SGP/QCRAD/E10 - Reprocess: Wrong calibration factor applied to NIP |
DataStreams: | sgpqcrad1longE10.s1, sgpqcrad1longE10.c2, sgpqcrad1longE10.s2, sgpqcrad1longE10.c1 |
Description: | From about 950721 to about 970204 (19:12 GMT) the wrong calibration factor was applied to the NIP at site E10. The calibration factor that was used was 1.00E-06 Volts/(W m^2). The correct calibration factor is 8.338E-06 Volts/(W m^2). Thus the calibrated NIP values found in the netCDF files are too large by a factor of 8.338. Documented in instrument DQR D970213.1 |
Suggestions: | Divide the calibrated NIP values given in the netCDF files by 8.338. |
